The proposed solution meets the need of employers, who must provide their workers with safety systems that are wearable, privacy-complaint and accepted in general by the workers.
The solution is specifically designed for isolated or lone workers, who operate by themselves or who cannot be over seen or heard by anyone. In case of emergency, injury or stroke, the worker can not be promptly rescued by colleagues or any other bystander. Therefore, the perception of risk is higher and there is consciousness of the impossibility to use a support system in hazardous conditions that could generate an anxious and insecurity state.
The project has the goal of providing a product meant for the protection in workplaces, focused on Adamo smartwatch, key product of Caretek, based on NB-IoT gateways and SW components for the storage and elaboration of data.
More in detail, the solution provides for:
- the use of a highly technological device by isolated workers
- a gateway connection system based on NB-IoT networks, capable of forwarding data from the smartwatches within the defined area according to IoT principles
- a technology which is based on data elaboration, able to localize the starting spot of the emergency communication, also for indoors places.
- A SW platform for the collection and elaboration of data to allow emergency management, devices monitoring, analysis and reporting of the registered events.
