Having graduated in Aerospace Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan, Francesco Attucci is responsible for the programs concerning the entire helicopter fleet already in operation for Leonardo's Helicopter Division.
In his current role he deals with strategies and business development in the aeronautical and helicopter sector, while in the past he gained experience in the manufacturing field, from the management of production departments to the development of new technologies of industrial processes and production as manager for all major aeronautical programs, particularly in the industrialization of the M346 training aircraft for which it holds two international patents.
He was the protagonist of the construction of the FACO Cameri plant, of which he was responsible until 2014, and for the production of the F35 fifth generation fighter. He was later responsible for Leonardo's production facilities in Caselle where the Eurofighter and the C27J tactical transport aircraft are made.
He has also collaborated with some Universities as a teacher and is a representative of the A&T Scientific Committee, committed to the growth of a competitive and technological entrepreneurial culture.
