Laura Montagna

Born in Pavia on 04/28/1961. Degree in Chemistry at the University of Pavia.
After a brief experience at the university she began his career in industry at the research center of Montefluos, Montedison Group, dealing with new lubricants, from research to industrialization and marketing.
Since 1995 she is in SKF, a leading company in products, services and solutions in the fields of rotating bearings, gaskets, lubricant systems, Condition Monitoring.
She has held management positions in Research and Innovation, Business & Strategy Development, Sales, in various locations in Europe and Asia.
Managed the corporate research center of SKF Group for 8 years, created and consolidated various partnerships with universities and research institutions in Europe, India, China.
Currently director of the portfolio of new technologies, with focus on enabling technologies for Automation, Diagnostics, Machine Learning, Additive Manufacturing, in tune with the SKF ‘reliable rotation’ strategy.
