Description

Vibrational analysis is a powerful predictive maintenance tool. This is a first level course, where the topic is introduced and how to acquire data is illustrated with the creation of a special database. The purpose is to recognize, through the analysis of the spectra, the most common damages or malfunctions of rotating machines. All the concepts exposed are put into practice with the help of a test bench, on which it is possible to simulate all the main operating anomalies that can be found with the vibration analysis.

Macro Topics

  • Introduction to the main types of maintenance
  • Theoretical basis of vibrations
  • Data acquisition
  • Signal processing
  • Condition Monitoring
  • Damage analysisi
  • Practical tests in the demonstration room

Trainee’s Profile

Maintenance operators and managers, maintenance inspectors, reliability operators, technical consultants.

Pre-Requirements

No pre-requisites

Objectives

  • Learn the advantages of vibrational analysis
  • Set up a database for data acquisition and be able to correctly perform an acquisition
  • Being able to recognize the main anomalies of a machine through spectral analysis
