Description

The course aims to provide an introduction to design for additive manufacturing, highlighting how the potential of additive technologies can be taken advantage of in design in terms of both performance (added-value) and cost.

Objectives

The first part of the course provides an overview of additive technologies to understand their applications and potential. The second part is helpful in understanding how design impacts additive manufacturing, and how to modify files to improve printability.
