The machine operator within the pilot line will play an essential role in the Additive Manufacturing team, dealing with the operation and routine maintenance of additive manufacturing machinery and ancillary equipment. The machine operator role requires great precision and attention to detail, sensitivity to workplace safety issues.
Flexibility and willingness to perform diverse tasks is required.
Main duties:
- Start, monitor, and complete operations on various additive machines with metallic materials.
- Remove supporting materials from manufactured parts with meticulous attention to detail.
- Perform operations on post-process machinery (wire EDM, sandblasting, various laboratory activities)
- Diagnose, maintain and/or repair machinery and equipment; experience in this area is expected to critically help improve processes on the pilot line to minimize downtime and maximize part quality.
- Check the quality of the finished product with measuring instruments
- Monitor consumables, raw materials, and supplies, interacting effectively with purchasing activities
- Take care of the order, cleanliness and safety of work environments
Requirements:
- Technical or vocational diploma in mechanical engineering and/or industrial chemistry
- 1-3 years of experience operating and/or maintaining industrial machinery
- Knowledge of technical drawing and measuring instruments
- Excellent manual dexterity and precision
