The Professor Guido Boella is the vicepresident of CIM4.0 Competence Center and Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Turin for the promotion of relations with businesses and business associations and for coordination with industrial innovation initiatives in the area.
His research activities concern the fields of artificial intelligence, the legal informatics of geoinformatics and the blockchain. He has created software such as the social network FirstLife and the wallet app blockchain Commonshood. He has participated in technology transfer projects for companies. He founded the university spinoff Nomotika.
He is the coordinator of various regional and European projects (ICT4LAW, EUCases, CANP, WeGovNow, Co-city, CO3, PININ) and of the international doctorate in Law, Science and Technology LAST-JD.
