NODES-Northwest Digital and Sustainable
NODES is one of the 11 Innovation Ecosystems identified by the Ministry of University within the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP) to support the sustainable and inclusive growth of the target territories in what is identified as a double transition (digital and ecological). CIM4.0 Academy Mobility Program is a pathway designed and implemented as part of the NODES Northwest Digital And Sustainable activities within Spoke 1
Strategic issues of sustainable mobility
Spoke 1 focuses on applied research and technology transfer in the areas of sustainable mobility and aerospace. These themes are declined in a broad sense, including physical and digital enabling infrastructures, and the digital transformation of companies operating in the related supply chains. These two macro-areas are characterized by a dense network of relationships with the industrial and academic ecosystem; in fact, the impact of Spoke activities will be enhanced by pursuing synergies with national and regional initiatives that aim to support the advancement of innovation capacity.
Target
The course responds to NODES’ objectives to support SME professionals in the transfer and dissemination of technological and managerial skills to seize the opportunities of the digital and sustainable transition.
We want to train figures who can lead the digital and green transition of the mobility ecosystem.
To whom it is addressed
Professionals from Small, Medium and Large Enterprises
- MIDDLE MANAGER → of public and private companies operating in the mobility sector;
- RESPONSIBILITIES → innovation, R&D, smart cities development, urban solutions, development of mobility services, planning and development of new means of transportation;
- MANAGERS → of urban and suburban mobility services;
- MANAGERS → in the process of outplacement or who want to retrain to access new job opportunities
Immersive learning
CIM4.0 spaces offer a stimulating and innovative environment. We offer participants an immersive and dynamic learning experience through pilot lines, courses that integrate theory and practice, and the conduct of a team project work at the end of the course. We prepare resources with a collaborative, experiential and hands-on approach.

Individual Tutors
Throughout the course, the student is supported in transforming new knowledge and skills into action skills. Each participant is supported by a mentor with whom, from the first meeting, personal characteristics and operational context, in which the participant is placed, are shared to assess obstacles and opportunities.
Focus
The automotive sector and the mobility sector in general are facing a major structural change, requiring the development of innovative infrastructures and solutions for new energies (green hydrogen generation and distribution, sustainable fuels, electric charging systems and services) and for digital and hardware components functional to the development of the new mobility.

Welcome
Welcome greetings, presentation of NODES initiative and ecosystem goals. Introduction to training topics, presentation of teaching methods and collective meeting with tutors and mentors.
Assessment
Self-assessment: through a questionnaire, participants will help identify the degree of competence in specific technology and management areas.
Individual assessment: for each participant there will be an initial assessment and support meeting aimed at guiding the performance of knowledge transformation and implementation. Through individual interview, the mentor proceeds to understand the characteristics of the participant and the operational context in which he/she is placed, to assess obstacles, opportunities, and personal characteristics. Performance is assessed on the basis of specific KPIs.
Il paradigma della mobilità
The dimensions characterizing mobility and multidisciplinary systems approach: holistic approach to understanding complex systems. Analysis of relationships between parts of a system in an ecosystem-based value network context. Assessment of the implications of the succession of events. Identification of interdependencies, interfaces and different value-generating flows. Analysis role of processes in achieving system equilibrium.
Deep Dive Temi Strategici
Principles of design and integration of the main components of the intelligent and efficient electric power train. Technologies to structure connectivity and interoperability of objects and flows. Principles of user-object interaction design for scalable autonomous driving experience.
Economic theories and technological tools for creating spaces for realizing economic circularity. Mobility design: practices and tools for conceptualizing objects, experiences, and spaces for mobility.
Sviluppo competenze applicative e manageriali
Service management. From supply chain to supply network. Business model strategy. Creation of new opportunities. Legal implications of technologies.
Project Work
Development of collective projects, one for each subgroup of up to 5 participants each, to address a concrete problem in the company and propose solutions that derive from the cross-cutting skills acquired and used in the group. The activity includes supervision by a corporate mentor and the production of an end-of-project report for each subgroup.
Final Assessments
After taking the required tests for each module, the participant will be awarded a diploma and will be involved in a second individual assessment phase. During this second meeting, the graduate will receive a list of guidelines in order to contextualize the application of the acquired knowledge. The goal is to maximize knowledge transformation so that the graduate consciously contributes to value creation in the business context.
Registration fee
The Mobility Program was designed by CIM4.0 as part of the NODES project – Digital and Sustainable Northwest.
The registration fee is €2,800 to cover the living costs of the initiative (secretariat, records management, teaching materials, use of laboratories and infrastructure, classroom costs)
Trainers
Trainers come from the NODES ecosystem and CIM4.0 resources. Involved in the training are professionals
of international significance who have chosen to share their experience.
