It was an important afternoon for the CIM 4.0 Competence Center and some of the consortium companies and the Piedmont industrial supply chain, involved within a panel discussion on Wednesday, September 25 in Cernobbio at the World Manufacturing Forum 2019.

Enrico Pisino, Ceo of the Piedmont Competence, dialogued together with colleagues Stefano Cattorini, General Manager of Bi-Rex, Lorna Vatta, Executive Director of Artes 4.0, Fabrizio Ferro, Executive Council Member MADE and Andrea Bianchi, Director of the Industrial Policies Area of Confindustria, recounting the first concrete actions moved by the Competence Centers on the territories, They started by illustrating the mission and the short, medium and long term objectives and then emphasized the initiatives of Competence involvement towards the consortium member companies. A comparison made even more interesting by the connections with the Digital Innovation Hubs, an important collaboration with a strategic value from the point of view of listening and the territorial needs of companies.

This was followed by a discussion among representatives of some of the companies that have joined the Competence Centers or part of the territorial industrial allied industries: for Piedmont, Riccardo Foresto of Illogic, Guido Graziano of Sabelt and Roberto Napione of SKF brought their testimonies.
