Star of the Mole 2022 – 40th Turin Film Festival

On Wednesday, Nov. 30, in the spectacular setting of the Temple Hall of the National Cinema Museum, the Star of the Mole award was presented to Malcolm McDowell. Guest of honor at the 40th Turin Film Festival, the international film star is best known to the general public for his iconic role as Alex DeLarge in Stanley Kubrick’s “A Clockwork Orange.”

The Prize

Also this year, CIM4.0, in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Turin, worked on the creation of the “Star of the Mole” award. The statuette has a completely unique technological component: the award presented to Monica Bellucci is in fact made of aluminum through the advanced technology of Additive Manufacturing
