CTE Next – The “House of Emerging Technologies”
The CTE Next project, led by the City of Turin, has been accepted for funding by the Ministry of Economic Development through FSC Funds under the Emerging Technologies Program launched in March 2021. The project aims to transform Turin into a widespread technology transfer center on emerging technologies in strategic sectors for the area: smart mobility, Industry 4.0 and innovative urban services. Central is the dissemination of emerging technologies enabled by 5G, such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain, which can promote business development, skills growth and industrial and urban innovation.

WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THE SERVICES OFFERED
All Italian and foreign start-ups and SMEs with at least one operational office in Italy, as well as informal groups not yet established as a company but intending to start an entrepreneurial project, that meet the following characteristics are eligible:
– adopt, develop, test, or launch a solution (product/service) on the market;
– enabled by 5G technology;
– based on at least one of the key emerging technologies (AI, IoT, Blockchain);
– expected impact in at least one of the CTE sectors;
You do not need to be registered as a start-up or innovative SME.

A SYSTEMIC COLLABORATION
Close collaboration with the two universities in Turin and with nationally renowned partners such as CIM4.0 will enable the creation of a cutting-edge center focused on emerging technologies capable of fostering business growth, acquired skills and industrial and urban innovation.
