Intesa Sanpaolo’s Northern Piedmont, Aosta Valley and Sardinia Directorate has joined the CIM4.0 National Competence Center as a partner. The collaboration agreement will be national in scope and will be implemented with the support of the Group’s Innovation Center. Intesa Sanpaolo is the only banking partner selected by the European Commission for the National Research Centers under the PNRR on 5 key topics: alternative mobility, ESG and sustainable transition, artificial and digital intelligence, cybersecurity, and medical research.

Support the creation of interconnected networks between industrial districts and territories with the support of valuable partners

Intesa Sanpaolo will provide, through the “network connections” model adopted by the Competence Center, technical and financial expertise to access financing mechanisms. The collaboration will also draw on the support ofIntesa Sanpaolo’s Innovation Center and Neva sgr, for the development of advanced technology startups and the matching of startups and mature companies. In addition, Intesa Sanpaolo will make “Incent now,” the digital platform resulting from the collaboration with Deloitte, available to companies free of charge , which allows them to get information regarding measures and calls made public by national and European institutional bodies as part of the planning of the NRP. Companies will have the possibility to quickly identify the best opportunities based on their own profile and gather the useful information to submit their investment projects competing for the allocation of public funds. In this regard, Intesa Sanpaolo has allocated resources to support 410 billion, of which 270 billion is for companies.
