The results of the first announcement of CIM4.0: PMTI4.0

CIM4.0 announces the names of the winners of the call for Technology Maturation Projects – Industry 4.0, which aims to support Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and innovative startups.
The announcement
The purpose of the call is to provide co-funding for the development of products, processes and services with a high level of innovation, through synergistic sharing and contamination actions, aimed at implementing the most innovative solutions within company products/production processes/services, to support increasing levels of competitiveness.
CIM 4.0 was among the first Competence Centers nationwide to offer companies the opportunity to submit project proposals related to innovative solutions that had already been partially demonstrated in a tangible way, even at the prototype level. In fact, projects were required to have a high Industry 4.0 Technology Maturity, with a TRL of at least 6 on entry and a level of at least 8 on exit.
National dimension
16 projects involving 18 companies (4 innovative startups, 3 microenterprises and 11 SMEs) passed the selection process. The national dimension of the Competence Center is evident when looking at the origin of the co-financing requests, which came from Emila Romagna, Marche, Lombardy, Piedmont and Apulia.
The exhibition of the winning projects
The presence of CIM4.0 with a booth at the A&T fair in Turin (Feb. 12-14, 2020) will be an opportunity to display all selected projects within an area with interactive touch-screen.
