The meeting, coordinated by the ICE-Agency in collaboration with Ceipiemonte and CIM 4.0, was one of the most significant stages of the Emirates delegation’s visit to Italy, after Milan and Rome.
The meeting in Turin was an opportunity to introduce guests to the excellence of the regional mechatronics and robotics supply chain, both from the technological and from the Research & Development point of view. Recently, the Emirates’ embassy had communicatedto ICE its interest in this specific sector. After the visit to the Digital Manufacturing Pilot Line at CIM4.0, the Rectors of the Polytechnic and the University of Turin, together with representatives of CIM4.0 and MESAP (the Innovation Hub that focuses on Mechatronics) and some of the main industrial players from Piedmont (Prima Industrie, Spea, Thales Alenia Space), explained the opportunities and the skills of the territory.
