CIM4.0 partner in the European project eMOTOR-VTB

CIM4.0 is a partner in the European project eMOTOR-VTB (eVTB), an initiative involving Enterprises, Universities and Research Centers promoted by three EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) – EIT RawMaterials, EIT Digital and EIT Manufacturing – a body of the European Union – who have joined forces to support the development and implementation of an ecogreen and innovation project.
Design for recycling
The project consists of the development of a digital testing platform aimed at evaluating the performance of an electric motor redesigned with recycled magnets. In this sense, the production and disposal processes of magnets are reconsidered from an environmentally sustainable perspective.
eMOTOR-VTB is an initiative that confirms the importance of increasingly environmentally and efficiency-conscious manufacturing, issues toward which projects by CIM4.0 – Competence Center and ecosystem partners are directed.

The Competence Center is the third stop on the project partners’ tour. Our spaces hosted teams from Reply, Mondragon Unibertsitatea, Polytechnic University of Turin, Dayco and Magneti Ljubljana who touched upon the innovative environment of our pilot lines.
An opportunity especially to talk about the progress of activities.
The language of the green economy is universal, and this visit confirms the role of Competence Centers as national and European reference centers for industry and technology transfer to businesses.
