The Piedmont Competence Center, desired and supported by the Ministry of Economic Development, is the national reference point for Industry 4.0 and a highly specialized center for everything related toAdditive Manufacturing and the Digital Factory.

In this context, the CIM4.0 Academy was born, which will start on November 6, 2020 in the part-time version while the full-time edition is scheduled to start in November.

PRACTICAL LEARNING PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME

The Academy is aimed at technical area managers and business division managers in two modes: full-time and part-time, both with very high practical and experiential content with the goal of training people to lead and manage digital transformation.

The training considers two main activities: the GAP-Recovery phase (or zeroing the technological skills gap) and the Project-work phase, which will be an opportunity to put the acquired skills into practice by solving real problems proposed by the Companies.

GREAT TRAINERS, WHO ARE ALSO GREAT PROFESSIONALS

All the trainers come from CIM4.0 consortium and partner companies and from the two universities (Polytechnic and University of Turin) and are professionals of international relevance who have chosen to share their knowledge with Academy participants. For Managerial skills, we draw on the contribution of Skillab, the company of Unione Industriale Torino and AMMA that has years of experience on the topic

The common thread of the course will be an actual project that the participants, divided into teams, will have to deepen and finalize.

RE-SKILLING AND UP-SKILLING

The CIM4.0 Academy aims to help increase the competitiveness of Companies through two actions: the development of additional skills that retrain professionals (Upskilling) and/or the development of different skills to enable the participant to play a different role in the Company (Reskilling).

FULL-TIME TUTOR, A REFERENCE FOR PARTICIPANTS

Each participant will have a mentor who will follow him or her throughout the course and guide them in all activities, a figurehead who will also provide valuable learning assessment tools.

THE SPILLOVER EFFECTS ON THE TERRITORY

Investing in a resource inevitably generates value for the participant and the company. The area will also benefit from the presence of qualified resources ready for the challenges of Industry 4.0.

The certainty of such spillovers on the ground actually makes the creation of new systemic business models sustainable by finalizing the resources already present.
