On Wednesday, May 26, at 2 p.m., during the Digital Days at the SPS Italia digital fair, CIM4.0 will take part in the panel discussion “What perspectives for Competence Centers? From Europe to NRP, an increasingly strategic role.”

The meeting, which will also be attended by the ARTES 4.0, BI-REX, MADE, SMACT and START 4.0 Competence Centers, will be an opportunity to take stock of activities carried out so far and activities in the pipeline in the Italian competence center system.

The meeting will also investigate the actions of competence centers in Europe, with a focus on their central role in implementing the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) program, the one-stop shops to stimulate the diffusion and adoption of advanced digital technologies. EDIH is part of Digital Europe, the first European program dedicated to supporting digital transformation.

Competence centers will also be an important resource in the implementation of the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan, another topic on which Enrico Pisino, CEO of CIM4.0, Stefano Cattorini, General Director of BI-REX, Matteo Faggin, General Manager of SMACT, Cristina Battaglia, Executive Manager of START 4.0, Lorna Vatta, Executive Director of ARTES 4.0, and Marco Taisch, President of MADE Competence Center I4.0 will be called upon to give their views.

A good opportunity to learn about opportunities and future prospects of the Competence Center system.

The free, streaming event will be moderated by Franco Canna, editor of Innovation Post.
