Kicking off a new call supported by resources from the Next Generation EU – National Recovery and Resilience Plan initiative M4C2I2.3 the opportunity aimed at companies that want to develop an innovation project with a high level of technological maturity (starting at least at TRL5).

The call encourages collaboration between companies and CIM4.0, supporting initiatives for the development of sustainable and digital manufacturing. Companies operating in Italy of any size are eligible: large industrial players, MPMIs and innovative startups. Applications will focus on implementing sustainable and digital manufacturing processes, product improvement and innovation, business and organizational model innovation, and generally increasing the competitiveness of the Italian industrial ecosystem.

Project duration: at least 6 months to 12 months; maximum grant of €400,000 per project, for industrial research, experimental development and feasibility studies.

Three areas of focus:

• Industry 4.0
• Sustainable automotive manufacturing
• Sustainable manufacturing for aerospace

Beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, it will be possible to submit the project proposal.

After the success of the first three-year period of operation, CIM4.0 is launching the new call, dedicated to innovation projects for Industry 4.0, with a budget of about 10 million euros.

Firms wishing to participate will have until August 4, 2023 to submit applications.
The project proposal application can be made on CINECA’s PICA platform.
