Today Giancarlo Giorgetti, head of the Ministry of Economic Development, visited our Competence Center. The tour was an important moment that showed how operationally the Competence Centers support businesses in the Digital 4.0 transition process.

The minister, accompanied by CIM4.0 President and Ceo Luca Iuliano and Enrico Pisino, Turin Polytechnic Rector Guido Saracco and Unione Industriale Torino President Giorgio Marsiaj, visited the pilot line dedicated to metal 3D printing and the laboratories dedicated to the digital factory, meeting the different teams working within the Competence Center.

It was also an opportunity to remark on the strategic role of DCs in supporting the Italian manufacturing industry, operating both at the local level by finalizing PNRR opportunities and abroad. In this respect, the opportunity related to the upcoming batch of EDIHs (European Digital Innovation HUBs) is crucial.
