The first course of CIM4.0 Learning Hub was held on December 18. As early as November 2019, the Turin Competence Center scheduled the course list and delivered the first one. For the occasion, Eng. Pier Giorgio Lanza of Thales Alenia Space was called as a lecturer, who explained to the many participants present the benefits of applying AI in production processes.
The forty participants in the course entitled Introduction to Artificial Intelligence learned the basics and terminology related to the world of AI with the presentation of case studies inherent to the world of mechatronics and aerospace. A non-academic training moment, on the contrary a real briefing with discussion between lecturer and participants.
Piedmont Competence Center CEO Eng Enrico Pisino said at the end of the day, “The excellent results of the first training day confirm that companies are hungry for innovation. We must continue to move quickly to respond to the needs of businesses with timeliness and quality.”
The available places for the course sold out in a few days, and the evaluation questionnaire showed that all participants would recommend a colleague to attend the course.
The Learning Hub is the only way to access courses delivered directly by the Competence Center’s partner companies, which often share internally developed know-how through courses tailored for participants together with CIM4.0.
With the new year, in addition to the Data Science track, courses in Predictive Maintenance, WCM, Additive Manufacturing, Methods and Tools for Digital Transformation, and Cyber Security will also be delivered.
