Published on April 19, 2025
The context
CIM4.0 Academy is a higher education course designed on the pillars of digital transformation. The journey of the 25 participants in the last edition of CIM4.0 Academy was challenging and productive. This is why we are happy to announce the second edition of the Academy, the high-level training path we have created together with the University of Turin, the Polytechnic University of Turin and 23 other consortium member Large Enterprises.

In this context, the second edition of the Academy aimed at technical area managers and business division managers will start on May 3, 2021: the course is an opportunity to access practical and experiential content, with the aim of training figures capable of leading and managing digital transformation.
By attending CIM4.0, professionals will be able to increase the competitiveness of Companies by developing additional retraining (Upskilling) of different skills that will enable them to play a different role in the Company (Reskilling).

The stages of the Academy
The training considers the following main activities: an initial phase where participants are imparted a multidisciplinary approach to the ecosystem context, the GAP-Recovery phase (or zeroing in on the technology skills gap), and the Systemic and Project-work skills development phase, which will be an opportunity to put the acquired skills into practice by solving real problems proposed by Companies.
Great trainers who are also great professionals
Most of the trainers come from CIM4.0 partners and are professionals of international relevance who have chosen to share their knowledge with Academy participants. For Managerial skills, CIM4.0 is supported by Skillab, the company of Unione Industriale Torino and AMMA that has years of experience on the subject.
As in the first edition, common thread of the course will be an actual project that participants, divided into teams, will have to deepen and finalize.

For everyone, and SME-friendly
The Competence Center’s mission is to make the use of 4.0 technologies accessible to everyone: from SMEs to large enterprises. The cost of courses can be amortized by using co-financing, subsidized finance and partnerships.
In addition, CIM4.0 is promoting the provision of 5 scholarships, aimed at job seekers at full cost, to fund participation in the CIM4.0 Academy.
