Educational goals

Training in cross discipline skills on technologies and operational models enabled by them. Implementing the skills, through real business challenges, in the ability to direct, guide and manage the digital transformation and the related reengineering of the processes of companies operating in different industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Access mode

The advanced training course, which involves all workers, including those who today need to relocate, provides for a fee to cover the living costs of managing and providing courses. CIM4.0 supports SMEs by covering 50% of the cost of enrolling employees in the second edition.

Performance is assessed on the basis of specific KPIs.

System Thinking

Holistic approach for understanding complex systems.

Analysis of the relationships between the parts of a system in an ecosystem-based value network context. Evaluation of the implications of the succession of events. Identification of interdependencies, interfaces and different flows that generate value. Role analysis of processes in achieving system equilibrium.

Data Science

IoT, AI, Network Science and complex systems, Data Economy, Data mining strategy and Data visualization, adv machine learning implications.

Enabling Technologies I 4.0 Digital Twin, Ar / Vr, 5G

Evolution of experimental activities on products and predictive on processes with impacts for the design, production and life cycle management; management of simulations using virtual and real information to increase the efficiency of production processes; introduction to the implications of new data traffic standards for design, product marketing and industrial processes.

Additive Manufacturing

Additive Manufacturing for materials, new processes, Integration with existing processes, design challenges for processes with AM, evolution of the value chain.

Cybersecurity

Blockchain, impact of GDPR compliance on production processes, embedded security-security by design, impact of cybersecurity practices on business and evolution of legislation.
